Who Is BJay
I am Biju Jayaraaj. Most people call me BJay.
I have spent more than 25 years building, running, and fixing real businesses. Not advising from the outside. Running them from the inside. Hiring people. Firing people. Missing payroll. Making payroll. Sitting in empty showrooms on holidays hoping a customer walks in.
I am not a coach. I am not a consultant. I am not a motivational speaker. I do not give lectures and leave. I install systems and leave.
What I Built
I started my career selling cars in Muscat, Oman. I moved to Dubai and built Artaaj, a full-service event management company, from a home operation to 82 people across 24 nationalities with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and India. We ran over 1,500 projects for more than 500 blue-chip clients across the Middle East.
I also created Big Boys Toys, a global innovation and lifestyle exhibition that operated in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Las Vegas.
The Problem I Kept Seeing
Along the way, I noticed something that no framework, no MBA, and no bestselling book had solved.
Every company I built, every team I managed, had the same problem:
- People obsessed over results they could not control
- People ignored the effort they could control
- Targets were set. Reviews were held. Numbers were missed
- The same cycle repeated the next quarter
